The Tierdrop Cut: step-by-step
We start by forming a horseshoe in the hair as a guide for our layers. Your stylist can manage the size of the horseshoe, depending on the number of layers you want. We create a ponytail to secure the length and density of the hair.
Next, the horseshoe section starts to form our layers as we over direct them and alternate the layers from side to side.
Tierdrop shaping goes from short to long. Our 'tier' is cut in opposing directions, leaving 'seamless' layers.
Once we have our layers, we start to cut the length.
