As well as running for a good cause, it was a great team building day for the staff, with the team all motivating each other along the way in order to reach the finishing line.

“We had such a fun day together.” says Tomm Bucknell, Salon Manager of seanhanna Worcester Branch. “There were moments of laughter and moments of pain but the pleasure of achievement was amazing”

The team who take part in the charity run and raised over £450 in the process were: Tomm Bucknell, Kim Edwards, Amie Vincent, Harriet Short, Billie Simper, Rebecca Harris, Shauna Gavigan, Becca Harley, Sarah Mills and Emma Feeley.

The aim of URBAN AIR was to raise awareness of Breakthrough Breast Cancer, which was done in exhilarating style!

The seanhanna Bristol team donated free dry styling and updos to the passer-by customers of Cabot Circus using ghd’s new Cherry Blossom range, whilst local dance group, Bass Honeys showcased a dance routine.

Later on in the evening, a local DJ added a party vibe by playing cool contemporary music whilst Threenine’s street artists wowed the crowd by free-styling their art on a blank canvas.

To wrap up the event on a high, the winner of the raffle prize was announced; one lucky person won a set of ghds exclusively designed by one of Threenine’s street artists.

Salon Owner Adam Vincent said “The event was a huge success considering the heavens opened 3-4 times throughout the day. A big thank you to my team and ghd for their support on the day.”

The event was to promote seanhanna’s new 6 point layer cut. Waitrose staff were treated to the seanhanna experience in a truly indulgent evening filled with goodies courtesy of kerastase and an in depth hair and scalp consultation.

seanhanna staff offered advice on what colour tones and hair styles suit individuals based on face shape and skin tone. Wine, homemade cupcakes and chocolate strawberries were also offered throughout the night.

The event was a great success for both seanhanna and Waitrose, helping to raise awareness between both companies.

Skyler is one of the UK’s most accomplished hairdressers and winner of numerous awards, including London Hairdresser of the Year in 2010. This is just one of her many trips abroad meeting other hairdressers and sharing the secrets of her success.

The series in Mumbai was in association with L’Oreal Professionnel and focused on the latest seanhanna signature collection. Skyler speaks on her trip to India: “Our latest collection is perfect for clients with longer hair, which of course works so well in the Indian Market.”

She continues on working with L’Oreal: “Working exclusively for L’Oreal Professionnel, we got to share our ideas with some of India’s top hairdressers. It was really exciting and was inspirational to see the amazing work that L’Oreal are doing in this exploding market”.
